Our story starts with our great founder Michael Polanski. Growing up in his hometown of Hoboken, Michael would frequently knock on every door of his neighborhood selling candies to raise funds for charities. Often described as a "bright, outspoken, and creative" child, no one had a singular doubt that Mike would be someone great. After graduating with a Masters Degree in Business from Yale University, he went to the Old Heidelberg to celebrate with his friends. One of these, engineer Sammy Rodriguez, complained about food being too quick to spoil despite being refrigerated. It was there they came up with the idea of mPLKS; sketched in a beer-soaked napkin.
The idea was to create air-tight sealing technology for anyone to afford and have access to. Through years of work and many patents, Polanski and Rodriguez were able to create self-vacuum-sealing bags that are reusable, practical, and safe to use. The "EasySeal™" became an instant hit for homes all over America; with their patented "Super-Last Polymer Bags©" and "Sealer Nodule©," the bag creates an air-tight seal to preserve your food with just the press of a button.
